Day 7 of 7
Your 30-day Instagram content calendar (copy-paste ready)
Today we assemble. You have the diagnostics (Day 1), the content menu (Day 2), the Reel formula (Day 3), the Stories arc (Day 4), the tag set (Day 5), and the collab plan (Day 6). Now we build a 30-day calendar that produces consistent results.
The weekly target: - 1 Reel (Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday β best Reel performance windows) - 2 carousels (Tuesday and Friday work well) - 1 customer feature or collab post (Saturday β weekend engagement is highest) - 5 Stories a day, every day (the 5-story arc from Day 4) - 1 collab post per month (rotate partners)
That's 4 feed posts + 35 Stories per week. Time to produce: about 90 minutes for the feed posts (shot in one batch) and 15 minutes a day for Stories.
The Monday batch session. Every Monday morning, block 90 minutes: - 20 minutes: planning β what are this week's 4 feed posts about? - 30 minutes: shooting β get all the b-roll, photos, and video for the week in one go - 30 minutes: editing β cut the Reel, design the carousels in Canva - 10 minutes: scheduling β load into Later or Meta Business Suite
This batch approach is what makes it sustainable. Trying to make content daily burns owners out in 3 weeks. Batching keeps it under 2 hours per week.
The 30-day content calendar template:
Week 1 β Foundation: - Mon Reel: AB-A behind-the-scenes of your signature offering - Tue Carousel: "5 things you didn't know about [your business]" - Wed Stories: question sticker β "What should I post more of?" - Thu Carousel: educational β answer the top 3 customer questions - Fri Stories: behind-the-scenes prep for the weekend - Sat Feed: customer feature with quote - Sun Stories: weekly recap, thank-you to customers
Week 2 β Voice: - Mon Reel: AB-A of you doing your craft β close-up process - Tue Carousel: "My biggest mistake when I started [your business]" - Wed Stories: poll β "this or that" related to your product - Thu Carousel: behind-the-scenes of a recent project - Fri Stories: takeover by an employee (your most charismatic team member) - Sat Feed: collab post with a local business (use Day 6 script to set up by mid-week) - Sun Stories: customer DMs of the week

That is your full 30 days.
Tools to set up: - Meta Business Suite (free) for scheduling feed posts - Later (free tier) for visual planning of the grid - Canva (free) for carousel design - CapCut (free) for Reel editing - A Google Sheet to track post performance
The weekly review. Every Sunday night, 10 minutes: - Top post of the week by reach? Why? - Bottom post of the week? Why? - Follower change this week - One thing to do differently next week
The 90-day milestone. By Day 90 of consistent execution, you should see: - 30-60% increase in reach per post - 500-1,500 new followers (more if you collab actively) - 2-4x increase in DMs and customer inquiries - Trackable in-store visits citing Instagram (ask "how did you find us?" at the register)
What to do when a post flops. Do nothing. Don't delete it. Don't post extra to compensate. Keep the schedule. The algorithm has a "consistency premium" β accounts that post on a predictable schedule get distribution boosts. A single flop has zero impact on your next post's performance.
What to do when a post takes off. Engage with every commenter for the first 4 hours. Reply to every DM. The algorithm continues to push posts that are getting recent engagement β your replies extend the lifespan of a hit post by hours or days.
You graduated. The 7-day course is over but the calendar runs forever. Most owners stop posting within 2 weeks. The ones who don't are the ones whose businesses we're profiling 5 years from now.
One last note. Most owners don't have time to run a calendar like this β that's why Social Perks runs it for you. AI generates the posts, AI drafts the captions and tags, you approve in batches. If you'd rather run your business than your Instagram, try us free for 14 days. [link]
Either way, the calendar above will work. Print it. Stick it on your wall. Start Monday.
